Jaguar XJ8 1997-2003

Procedure

Open boot /trunk and leave OPEN.

OPEN driver's door and leave OPEN.

Turn ignition switch ON, warning lights on dashboard come on, WAIT for them to go OUT.

Within 5 seconds PRESS valet switch 5 times. The horn will sound and flash of the headlights indicates the vehicle has entered the PROGRAM mode.


NOTE : Valet switch is located in the centre console.

Press any button on the REMOTE CONTROL.

Repeat step 5 for additional remote transmitters.

Test all remote controls and memory functions are working and correct.
