Procedure

OMRON RKE SYSTEM

NOTE : Receiver module location :

Expo LRV = Behind rear quarter panel at C pillar, above rear wheel well driver side

Expo = Behind rear quarter panel at C pillar, above rear wheel well passenger side

Montero = Behind rear quarter panel, forward of passenger side rear light cluster.

Diamante = Under rear shelf trim.

Galant = Under rear shelf trim.

3000GT = Behind rear quarter trim panel on driver side, near left speaker.

With ignition OFF connect pins 1 and 4 of the OBD port together using a suitable jumper cable.

Close all doors, trunk/boot and bonnet/hood.

Turn ignition to ACC position and then back to OFF.

The doors should LOCK and UNLOCK to indicate programming mode.

Press any button on the first remote transmitter slowly 3 times within 10 seconds.

The doors should LOCK and UNLOCK to confirm remote transmitter is programmed.

Repeat step 5 for all remote transmitters to be programmed.

Disconnect jumper from OBD and remove ignition key.

Test all remote transmitters for operation.
